Oasis3 Children's Learning Centre

Oasis3 Children's Learning Centre (OCLC) had its humble beginnings in the UK and has now come to serve here in Cagayan De Oro City. It provides quality childcare and education for children aged 6 months to 4 years old. Oasis3 believes in training a child early in the way that they should go so that when they grow they will not depart from it.

Oasis3 mainly follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS -Birth to 5 Matters) . When a child reaches the PreK level they will experience a Bilingual Curriculum (British-Filipino) to prepare them to transition into a Filipino primary school learning environment.

Oasis3 also follows the Keyworker System. Each child has a designated Keyworker who looks after the children's needs. A qualified teacher assigned in a room implements the EYFS Curriculum and is responsible for managing the day to day running of their room.

Oasis 3 has a Special Baby Unit run by a qualified teacher who implements the Baby's curriculum assisted by a supporting medical staff who looks after the Care aspects of the babies (milk, food, clothes, diapers, hygiene and safety).

At Oasis3 Children’s Learning Centre, we believe that from birth to 5 years old a child's brain is like a sponge that can easily absorb anything in a certain environment parents choose them to be in. It is essential that this foundation stage be filled with fond memories spent with peers. Through a play based system they gain a wealth of various life skills and learning experiences.

Children grow up so fast. Don’t let it flash before your very eyes! Our Digital LearningBook Smart Tablet directly linked to our UK base is unique and first in the Philippines where Oasis3 teachers can observe, track and capture a child's progress through our daily activities. These are made available to parents to view online while they are at work, on holiday or overseas. This strengthens our School to Home - Home to School Programme. Parents are able to upload photos of their child doing something unique with their family at home or abroad which can be evidence to support their learning and development outside school.

With LearningBook, images of children, online information and their progress are secured and protected by Data Protection Law (UK). This digital device leaves outdated and time consuming methods behind. Oasis3 makes observations using text, video, photo or voice and links to the EYFS in less than a minute. Therefore, most of the teacher's time is spent with the children and not in admin work. LearningBook can be used as an Early Intervention Tool to detect if a child has a special need or is a gifted child who has advanced in the expected child development stage. If a child is observed to have a special educational need, the child is then advised to see a health or educational expert to address the concern(s) as early as possible. When a child leaves Oasis3 after 5 years old, their LearningBook profile will be passed on to their chosen Primary School as evidence of their progress whilst at Oasis3 Children's Learning Centre.
